Planning your ceremony

A wedding celebration with a celebrant offers a unique and personalised experience, allowing you to have a ceremony that truly reflects you personalities, values, and love story. 

One of the biggest advantages of having a celebrant is the ability to create a bespoke ceremony. I will work closely with you to understand your journey, preferences, and any special elements that you want to include. This can be personalised vows and readings, unique rituals and symbolic acts.    

Unlike traditional religious or civil ceremonies, celebrant-led wedding ceremonies can be held almost anywhere. Whether you dream of getting married on a beach, in a forest, or even in your own back garden I hope to be able to accommodate your vision.    

With no strict templates to follow, celebrant-led ceremonies can be as creative as you wish. From incorporating music and poetry to involving family and friends in special roles, the possibilities are endless.    

The journey with me as your celebrant begins well before the wedding ceremony. We will spend time getting to know each other, to ensure your ceremony is perfect.   On the day, I will lead the ceremony, with warmth and professionalism.   

However, a celebrant-led ceremony is not legally binding on its own. Couples wanting to legally marry will need to complete the legal paperwork separately, either before or after the wedding ceremony.  

I will ensure that the ceremony flows smoothly and that your day is the one that you have dreamed of. 

Step 1 - You say... Yep Amanda looks the perfect Celebrant for us, and you choose to contact me.

Step 2 – We chat about your perfect day and the magical journey starts.

Step 3 - To secure your date, I take 50% deposit and send over your contract. You will sign and date your copy, send it back to me I then complete the transaction by sending you a fully signed copy.

Step 4 - We meet face to face somewhere mutually convenient around 3-4 months prior to your Ceremony date, where we have an informal meeting whilst I ask you a series of questions to form the beginnings of your script. It is just a very conversational chat between new friends sharing special times to build a love story.    

Step 5 – As the day approaches, we agree your script and look forward to your perfect day.
