Naming ceremonies

 
A naming ceremony is a special event where you formally name your child and welcome them into the family and community. Unlike religious ceremonies such as baptisms or christenings, naming ceremonies are typically non-religious, making them inclusive for families of all beliefs and backgrounds.    

Each ceremony is unique and tailored to your preferences creating a meaningful event that reflects your values and hopes for your child. You can incorporate symbolic actions such as lighting candles, planting trees, or creating handprints to mark the occasion. Parents and sometimes godparents or guardians make promises to support and nurture your child. This can include readings, poems, or music.    

I will do everything I can to help you through the process of creating your perfect ceremony to welcome your new addition.     

Step 1 - You say Amanda looks like the perfect Celebrant for us, let's set up a call with her!   

Step 2 - The call is made and you tell me all about your little one.

Step 3 - To secure your date, I take 50% deposit and send over your contract. You will sign and date your copy, send it back to me, and I then complete the transaction by sending you a fully signed copy.

Step 4 - We meet face to face somewhere mutually convenient prior to your Ceremony date, where I get to know you as parents, and who you all are as a family, and ask you a series of questions to form the beginnings of your little one's script. It is just a very conversational chat between new friends.

Step 5 - I go away and start building your dream script.
